I remember when I was eight years old, sitting on the floor of my living room with my dad. We had just gotten home from the electronics store with the supplies I needed to build my very own desktop computer. That's the day I really got interested in technology and what it can do for me, or rather, what I can do for technology. To me, technology means a change. I'm never really happy about change, I'm definitely more of a routine person. The exception for that is technology. It's constantly changing, and rather than cringing away from it, I embrace it. I love it. I love having the newest technology and figuring out what I can do with it, or how I can make it better. If only I had the money to really do that.
This is my fourth years at Bowie High School, and my second year in Mr. Nourse's class. I plan on attending Texas A&M University to study Biomedical Diagnostics of Infectious Diseases. Even though I don't plan on directly going into a career that is only technology based, as a diagnostic specialist, I'll still be using the newest technology to study the diseases, which works for me. Maybe one day I'll invent some technological device that will change the world!
