A little bit about me...

As long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with modern technology; computers, cars, microwaves, televisions, anything and everything that could be switched on. Perhaps this interest was the result of my father's career in technology, specifically software engineering, 3D modeling, and visual art. Between his influence, and that of the technological improvements made in the last decade, I was enthralled with the latest and greatest.

I was raised in an environment where the technology was changing every day, a new appliance here, a faster computer there, a better Television over there. Even if it was merely messing around in paint, I was able to effectively use a computer at the age of six. I enjoyed watching my dad create things from scratch on the computer screen, whether they were a 3D Airplane model, a User-Interface for a website, a racing video game, or even a geological program used by the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.

During the 2009-10 school year, my last here at Bowie, I would like to create programs, models, images, and even music; while making friends along the way. I would like to go beyond being a mere consumer of software products, art created by others, and create my own products and artwork. I want my experience here to be well-rounded, and use projects as opportunities to meet new people.
