This is the Motion Graphics Project for Problems and Solutions class. Even though the title of the project is "show what you know" in motion graphics, I also used this project as an opportunity to learn new things, such as making 2-Dimensional Objects seem 3D, and using the new "bones tool" in Flash CS4. By combining these with my preexisting knowledge of tweens, creating symbols, and adding audio to flash documents. The result - a simple, entertaining flash loop.
I began with the columns you see in the backround.
I then decided to try out the bones tool in a character. This was a learning experience for me, because I was used to the traditional methods of animation. (Keyframing, Motion Tween, Shape Tweens, etc.)
Finally, after copying the original character to make four guards, I decided to add something to accent the project as a whole. Hence, this rotating coin.
