Day I: I practiced with new things in after effects to get it down for when I put the video in and I’m not completely clueless. I plan to film the video over the weekend.

 

Day 2: I inserted the film into after effects and watched a couple of tutorials and read some stuff on how to make effects with the new composition and all that stuff.

 

Day 3: I have learned some new things in after effects. I made my sister shoot lightning! I find it easiest working with the particle effect, which I also used to alter things and make her shoot fire. I made fire but it didn’t turn out the way I wanted. I don’t know if I’m going to use that. It just looks way to fake and funny with the given idea.

 

Day 4: I had planned to have Derrin shoot vines, but I couldn’t figure out how to do that and all the tutorials were like an hour long. I didn’t have that much time to sit there and watch them so I tried to make her shoot out flowers instead. Unfortunately, they look really fake, ha.

 

Day 5: I was also planning to have me use water but it turns out that I don’t ever need that power in the video. Instead I worked on making Alina use different powers when attacking.

 

Day 6: Today I’m am adding powers at the end when we break Princess Iceorea free. My friend Madison recorded the first part of the audio that I need to add and put in some fast and interesting music! J 

 

Day 7: I added audio

 

Day 8: Finishing touches, put up on Youtube, Vimeo, and Ning. J

 

Day 9: I finished as much as I could with editing my video and it looks great! J I imported my other video clips and matched them together with the audio for my other project so I could cross off audio editing on my TEKS list. I made this video black and white, too, because it just makes it look more professional. J Now, I’ll start thinking about what I want to do with my next project.
