Motion Graphics Project (The Flight of The Thief)

This is the Motion Graphics Project for Problems and Solutions class. Even though the title of the project is "show what you know" in motion graphics, I also used this project as an opportunity to learn new things, such as making 2-Dimensional Objects seem 3D, and using the new "bones tool" in Flash CS4. By combining these with my preexisting knowledge of tweens, creating symbols, and adding audio to flash documents. The result - a simple, entertaining flash loop.

I began with the… Continue

FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH

Before:

After:

Day One:

Today, I’m going to start with thinning out her hair, since peoples’ hair begins to fade and fall out as they age. Next, I used the Liquify tool to make her skin look saggy. I used the airbrush tool to give her wrinkles, and the burn tool to give her age spots and to darken her teeth. I darkened under her eyes… Continue

Autobiography

A little bit about me...

As long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with modern technology; computers, cars, microwaves, televisions, anything and everything that could be switched on. Perhaps this interest was the result of my father's career in technology, specifically software engineering, 3D modeling, and visual art. Between his influence, and that of the technological improvements made in the last decade, I was enthralled with the latest and greatest.

I was… Continue

Autobiography

I love technology, and it is like one of my best friends. Technology is so exciting and is like a friend because it always has so much to offer, it helps me do what I love, like being creative, and it even helps me with my homework. Technology interests me because it is very dynamic; it is always changing and growing every single day. My day completely evolves around technology, and I don't know how I could survive one day without it.

This is my third year at Bowie, and my third year… Continue

Autobiography

I remember when I was eight years old, sitting on the floor of my living room with my dad. We had just gotten home from the electronics store with the supplies I needed to build my very own desktop computer. That's the day I really got interested in technology and what it can do for me, or rather, what I can do for technology. To me, technology means a change. I'm never really happy about change, I'm definitely more of a routine person. The exception for that is technology. It's constantly… Continue

My Bio

I basically grew up with a keyboard in my hand. My dad was one of the lucky ones to get to work with a computer early on and once the personal computer came out he had to have it. With technology all around me I have had the opportunities to try many different media of digital representation. Yet, with so much to choose from I never got really into one specific thing. I have gleaned the surface of many programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Dream Weaver, and more. Plus I have had time with… Continue
